Mooreview provides civil engineering design and municipal submission support for commercial, industrial, residential and mixed-use site plan developments across Ontario.

We work with developers, builders, property owners, architects and planning consultants to prepare the engineering drawings, reports and supporting documents needed to move projects through site plan approval and into construction.

 Site plan projects require more than a set of drawings. The civil design has to work with the building layout, parking areas, site access, municipal services, surrounding grades and stormwater requirements.

Mooreview approaches the design with approval, coordination and construction in mind. Our goal is to prepare practical engineering that responds to municipal requirements without losing sight of how the site will actually be built and operated.

 We prepare grading, drainage and stormwater management designs that coordinate proposed buildings, parking areas, entrances, landscaped areas and site servicing.

Depending on the project, this may include site grading plans, major drainage routes, storm sewer design, stormwater calculations, on-site storage, infiltration measures and erosion and sediment control.

The design is coordinated with the architectural and landscape plans so that conflicts can be identified before they become municipal review comments or construction issues.

 Mooreview prepares civil servicing designs for projects connecting to municipal water, sanitary and storm infrastructure.

This may include domestic and fire water services, sanitary connections, storm connections, service sizing, flow calculations and coordination with existing municipal infrastructure.

We also coordinate with the architect, mechanical consultant, fire protection consultant, utility providers and municipality where required.

 Mooreview can remain involved after approval to help carry the engineering design through construction.

Depending on the project, this may include contractor coordination, shop drawing review, site inspections, progress reviews, payment certification, deficiency review and closeout support.

This continuity helps reduce the gap between what was approved and what is ultimately built.
